Anthony Vega is a visual artist, educator and musician in the Philadelphia area.  Originally from the rural town of Green Creek, New Jersey he has spent the last eight years pursuing his artistic career. He is currently, the director of the University of Delaware Philadelphia gallery UD@Crane, and is adjunct faculty at the University of Delaware and Delaware County Community College. Anthony received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Delaware. His undergraduate work was completed at Saint Joseph’s University where he studied fine art, music and philosophy. Since, he has exhibited his work in galleries and other venues nationally. Anthony has recorded and performed over the past 12 years as a percussionist with multiple ensembles in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and New York.
